National and International Examinations Accepted by Avrasya University

For students who will be accepted from abroad to be apply for the programs at Avrasya University, the list of national and/or international examinations they should take depending on the program they will apply and the base scores:

INTERNATIONAL SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) Minimum 1000 combined from Math and Critical Reading with min. 500 from Math.
INTERNATIONAL ACT (American College Test) Min. 21
INTERNATIONAL GCE (General Certificate of Education) Min 2A level, in the area related to the program applied for.
INTERNATIONAL IB (International Baccalaureate) Min. 28
AZERBAIJAN TQDK examination At least 26 points out of 100, min 200 out of 700 in “Group I” and 250 out of 700 in “Group II-III-IV” in the areas related to the program applied for.
AZERBAIJAN Azerbaijan Certificate of Complete Secondary Education Min. 3
LABANON Baccalaureat Libanais At least 65 out of 100 or 13 out of 20 in science.
PALESTINE/ JORDAN Tawjihi At least 80 the average of exams grade from all courses in science
INTERNATIONAL Al-Shahada-Al Thanawiyya Min 190 out of 240 for engineering department, min 175 out of 240 for other departments
CHINA Gaokao Min 490 out of 750
IRAN Diplome Debirestan and Pişdaneşgahi Min 14 out of 20 diploma grade of high school
KAZAKHSTAN Kazakhstan National Test Min 90 out of 120
INTERNATIONAL International Student Science Olympics (TUBITAK) Golden, Silver, or Bronze Medals from the international student olympics recognized by TUBITAK

In order to be able to apply as an international student, you will have to satisfy both citizenship and application criteria.

Citizenship Criteria:

The applications from following students will be accepted:
•Foreign students who are either high school graduates or are studying their last year in high school,
•Natural born citizens of the Republic of Turkey, those who have abandoned their citizenship upon the approval of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, and those who hold the Official Document for The Use of Rights Granted by The Law No: 5203, which is issued for their children under the full legal age who are registered on the document that certifies the abandonment of Turkish citizenship
•students with dual nationality  (Turkish or TRNC) who acquired, not inherited their Turkish/TRNC citizenship (Those with dual nationality, who were natural born citizens of a foreign country but later acquired the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey)
•Turkish or TRNC citizenships and who complete their entire high school education abroad
•Citizens of TRNC who have completed their entire high school in TRNC and have GCE A/L result


The applications from following students will not be accepted:
•Turkish citizens or TRNC citizens (except the students who have completed their entire high school in TRNC and have GCE A/L result),
•Students with dual Turkish nationality  (except the students who have completed their entire high school education abroad)
•Students with dual nationality one of which is TRNC (except the students who have completed their entire high school in TRNC and have GCE A/L result),
•Students with dual nationality or Turkish citizens who graduated from the mission, consulates or foreign schools in Turkey
•Students expelled from an in institutions of higher education in Turkey due to disciplinary action.

Application criteria:

International applicants are admitted based on the high school diploma GPA, international and national high school leaving or university entrance examinations’ results, providing that the application requirement is not less than accepted minimum for each application criteria. All acceptance decisions are determined based on the recommendation of the relevant admission committee and the approval of the Senate.The validity period of university entrance examinations is two years as of the date of their administration. High school exit examinations do not have any limitation on the period of validity
